SCHEDULE CONTENT OR DIE TRYING

How to effectively plan your content so you don't miss out on potential business.

As we've mentioned in previous posts, content is extremely important to your businesses social media. It impacts perception, it effects engagement, and ultimately it effects the conversion of customers. ⠀

And yet, so many businesses will only post a few times A MONTH. That's 27 out of 30 days a month their social media is blank. Unvisited. Uninteresting. Wasted. ⠀

I spoke with a restaurant owner last week and before I went in I took a look at their social media profiles. Their Facebook page posted 10 times in the last 2 months, and their instagram 4 times in the last 2 months. I assumed it was another case of "we're too busy to handle it every day", but it wasn't. ⠀

This restaurant actually has someone in-house to manage their social media for them. My initial thought was "what the hell are they doing every day?". I still don't know. To be honest, I can't believe they're paying someone to not do their job, but that's for them to take care of. What we can focus on is what YOU can do for your business. ⠀
A lot of the time, it really does come down to some business owners not knowing about scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, or Buffer, that allow you to plan and schedule your content so that you don't have to worry about posting every day. It does it for you. ⠀

So, the best way to make sure you keep the engine running, is to set aside some time each week or each month, to schedule your content for the coming week/month. You'll find you get it schedules quicker than you would posting it manually, and you can focus on your day-to-day tasks without that distraction. ⠀

Free up your time. Stay active. Start scheduling. ⠀ ⠀
